5th grade General Science

iPad Expectations: We will frequently use school-issued iPads in class. Students are responsible for arriving EVERY DAY with their iPad fully charged. Failure to do so will result in an automatic detention, and students will not be permitted to charge their iPads at school.

If an iPad is experiencing unusual battery loss or another issue, students must notify me immediately upon entering the classroom. For any technology emergency, please email myrick@ronclarkacademy.com.

Homework is always due on the date listed in Google Classroom and may include assignments, studying, or reviewing specific materials. If a student is absent when homework is assigned or due, they will have the same number of days they were absent to complete and submit the work.

Students are responsible for collecting and completing all missed assignments immediately upon returning. Failure to collect or complete missed homework will result in a zero and detention.

Absences do not excuse students from any work. Students must email Mr. Harden and schedule a tutorial to complete missed assignments within the same number of days they were absent (2 days absent = 2 days to complete the work). A Tutorial Appointment button is provided below to schedule a time.

Failure to submit the assignment or schedule a tutorial without notifying Mr. Harden will result in a zero. If the missed assignment is homework, the student will also receive a detention.
